Second Avenue Consignment tries to accommodate everyone that has a desire to consign their items, whether you are cleaning out your attic or basement, moving or downsizing.
We take Antique and Modern furniture, art, jewelry, coffee table books, lamps, clocks, quilts and other household décor. We take quality items – anything that is salable and in the best condition. All items must be clean.
- Furniture – Must be sturdy and not in disrepair. Upholstery must have no stains, holes, tears and from a smoke free home.
- Dishes and Glassware – 4 or more place settings, or other serving pieces.
- Lamps – Must be in working order with appropriate lamp shades.
- Rugs – Must be in near perfect condition. Nothing larger than a 8×5.
- Jewelry – Silver, gold, fine and costume.
- Select Quilts and Duvets – Must be clean and in near perfect condition.
- Chandeliers, Lamps and Wall Fixtures – Must be in working order and capable of being hung/displayed.
- DVD’s and CD’s – depending on content.
Items We Do Not Accept
- Out of style items that would not sell regardless of the condition.
- Dated furniture (example 1970-1980′s type colonial)
- Items that do function as intended.
- Clothing.
- Cheap flea market items.
- Baby items of any kind.
- Stuffed animals, toys or games.
- Dolls
- Most rockers
- Cassette or VHS tapes
- Used sheets or towels
- Entertainment units
- Large Appliances
- Paperback Books
- Collector plates, (Norman Rockwell, Kincade ect)
